Job Description
Fowler General Construction is seeking qualified and experienced Project Manager professionals to join our team on a variety of large-scale commercial construction projects. Candidates must be able to manage all aspects of the cost, schedule, and technical baseline for a construction project. A proven capability to perform bid tabulations, writing and managing subcontracts, reviewing, and processing submittals, writing RFI’s, developing change orders, and managing job close-out activities. Position requires planning and ensuring adherence to the construction schedule and budget, and to coordinate with vendors, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, craft, and field personnel. Candidate must have strong organization, communication, and leadership skills capable of working on multiple projects and tasks at a time. A minimum of 3 years of commercial PM experience is required of this position.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee all stages of project life cycle
- Provide leadership to all project team members
- Manage project budget
- Manage project schedule
- Subcontracts, RFIs, COs, ASIs, etc.
- Provide timely status reports to stakeholders
Project Manager Requirements:
- 3+ years of PM experience in commercial construction projects
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Industry knowledge of construction means and methods
- Fluent understanding of drawings and specifications
- Detail-oriented and strong communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently independently as well as on a team
- Competent in handling more than one project or assignment at a time
